I'm on a business  trip and discovered this place close to my hotel. This family business was a wonderful find.

So far I've had the curry and then the spicy pork ramen with egg rolls and everything was delicious. The staff is very friendly and treat you very kindly. I would definitely recommend this place if you are craving Japanese or Korean.

Solid, solid stuff on a cold night.

The tofu hot pot (soon dubu) was not the best I've had, but it definitely scratched the itch on a frosty night.  The udon was similarly on point.

Add to that the super-friendly owner/manager couple and speedy service, and I definitely see myself coming back.

This review is strictly for their ramen. This is not a place for authentic ramen. They serve the instant ramen ( perhaps shin ramen you get at super market) and cook it in a pot for you with the same seasoning pack. You can add an egg and other condiments for an extra charge. The texture of the noodles were way too soft for my liking. I recommend save your money and just buy a bag of shin ramen and cook it yourself for less than $2 at home.

Sakura is one of my favorite restaurants in south Denver metro. Their homey atmosphere and side array of Japanese food options, I keep coming back! The staff is so polite and hardworking; the food is absolutely delicious. My go to is the Spicy Pork Bento box, but I have heard great things about the salmon teriyaki and Japanese curry. It is a small restaurant, so come early! Especially on a chilly Friday.

Pretty decent food overall. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and prices were about what we expected them to be. The staff member was polite, albeit with a somewhat stern demeanor.  All in all, it was tasty Japanese food. A-ok.
